Case Study - Lexelle 'BrokerNet' Application

Lexelle is a leading provider of specialist insurance products and claims services. They provide one of the widest ranges of added value insurance products and services available in today’s market, mainly on a wholesale basis.

Working with Lexelle, 3Squared have devloped a bespoke application 'BrokerNet' for claims managment, which assists the current paper based process. Through 'BrokerNet' Lexelle can setup individual brokers, customising their products and services. Brokers can then submit claims online through 'BrokerNet' on an individual basis or as a batch using an Excel import feature. Through 'BrokerNet' Lexelle staff can process and action the claims accordingly.

From a technical perspective, the new system utilises an SQL 2005 database, used to store information, with the main application developed in .NET, a development platform from Microsoft. Together the two components provide a powerful solution, streamlining the 'claims management' process.
